Please read these Booking Conditions very carefully as they incorporate the basis upon which bookings are accepted by Lotte Travel.

BOOKING CONDITIONS  VALIDITY :1 March 2016 to 31 December 2017.

4How to book:

Select the tour of your choice and then consult Lotte Travel or your Travel Agent who will make the reservation request. Please note that all reservations are subject to availability at the time of booking . Any verbal quote given is an estimate only of the price which will be subject to a written advice on confirmation of the reservation.

4Changes in prices and Itineraries:

Prices are based on tariffs and airfares current at February 2016. In this time of escalating prices and economic instability, It is impossible to foreshadow accurately fluctuation in exchange rates or increase to the cost element of the tour such as increase in airfares, fuel, airport charges, hotelier rates and other service provides tariffs. In the event of such fluctuations or increase affecting the prices which we pay for transportation, hotel accommodation, and services generally, we reserve the right to adjust our price as may be necessary at any time up to and including the day of departure of your tour, even though the balance payment may have been made. If we are forced to change your booking or part of it for reasons beyond our control, for instance if an airline changes its timetable or if an hotelier overbooks his hotel accommodation, we reserve the right to vary your itinerary and will give you, or cause to be given to you, notice thereof, including any consequent change in price. In the event that any one change or series of changes to your itinerary demonstrates that your tour has thereby become materially different from that contemplated prior to the change or changes being effected and in respects of which we have already accepted your deposit or balance payment, you have the right to ask for a rearrangement or to withdraw from the tour and monies already paid will be refunded less any charges levied by suppliers.It is essential you check with your agent whether any such changes have occurred in the tour you have chosen before you complete your booking. If, in the unlikely event that we have to cancel your booking because of insufficient numbers booked or because of events outside our control, we will, if we are able to, offer you an alternative tour of similar standard. If you do not accept the alternative we will refund in full any monies already paid.

4Deposits and final payments:

A deposit of 10% per person is payable on confirmation. Final payments are to reach Lotte Travel no later than 28 days prior to departure. If for any reason your balance payment is not received by us by the due date, we reserve the right to treat your booking as cancelled and to apply the appropriate cancellation charges.

4Single supplement:

Single occupancy of a room by choice or circumstance is subject to the applicable supplement.

4Late bookings:

Bookings made within 28 days of departure will only be accepted if full payment is received by Lotte Travel immediately on confirmation of the reservation. In the case of Lotte Travel accepting bookings within 28 working days of departure, a late booking fee of $50 per person will charged and payment of a higher airfare.


Applicable ages and costs will be advised on request.

4Amendment fees:

A fee $30 per file per amendment will be charged by Lotte Travel in addition to any charges levied by hotels, ground operators or airlines. An amendment constitutes a change to an existing booking and not a transfer to another tour, wherein cancellation fees may apply.


Should you, or a member of your party, be forced to cancel, you must advise your Agent in writing. The letter should be signed by the person who made the original booking. The cancellation is not effective until your Agent receives this letter. Cancellations are subject to a charge to cover our estimated costs and scale of charges per person in the event of cancellation or failure to travel without formal cancellation is as follows:

Land arrangements
For any cancellations for confirmed arrangement, a cancellation fee will be charged in accordance with the case incurred. We have 28 day notice of cancellation for a group (over 10 persons) and  21 day notice for FITs (less than 9 persons). Cancellation received on the following days prior to arrival will be charged as follows. We will not be responsible for factors beyond its control such medical problem, airline strikes, boat or flight cancellation or bad weather and so forth.

Air arrangements
• Within air tikcet issuing dead line of departure 100% of the airfare or any other amount, as required by Airline Tariff Regulations.

Refunds: No refund is available for cancellations after the tour has commenced, or in respect of any tours, accommodation,meals or any other services not utilised.

4Maps and photographs:

Maps shown on tour pages are for general information and may not necessarily reflect actual routings or services provided. Photographs show places in the geographic areas, but are not necessarily included in the tour.

4Travel insurance:

We strongly recommend that, at the time of booking, you purchase a comprehensive travel insurance policy of your choice. We suggest that the policy should include, but not be limited to the following features:
• Loss of deposit through cancellation.
• Personal baggage and loss of money.
• Medical expenses.
• Additional expenses to cover hotel accommodation and repatriation costs to Australia should the tour need to be extended or curtailed due to illness while overseas, or due to the needs to return to Australia because of unexpected death or illness of a close relative. This feature should also cover cancellation of transport services due to industrial action. Royal & Sunalliance Travel Insurance policy covers you for all of the above.

4Health and immigration:

Passengers should familiarise themselves with any health or visa requirement that may be applicable in the areas they intend visiting, and they shall be responsible for all exit, entry, health and other documents required by laws, regulations orders, demands or requirements of the countries visited or transited. Each person shall carry a valid passport at all times. Kindly note that passport and visa requirements are not our responsibility or that of your Agent and we are not liable for any loss or expense due to a passengers failure to comply with the above.


The free baggage allowance for International First and Business Class air travel is 30kg (66lbs) and for Economy Class, individual and group inclusive Tour travel 23kg (44lbs). Excess baggage charges are the responsibility of the passenger.

4Pre-departure contact:

It is essential that your travel agent advise Lotte Travel of telephone number, or address, where you can be reached within 48 hours prior to your departure from Australia.

4Travel and accommodation:

Lotte Travel is not itself a carrier or hotelier, nor do we own aircraft, hotels or coaches. The flights, coach journeys, other travel and hotel accommodation comprised in your tour are provided by reputable carries and hotelier on their own conditions. It is important to note, therefore, that all bookings with Lotte Travel are subject to the terms and conditions and limitations of liability imposed by airlines, coach operators, hoteliers and other service providers including, but not limited to shipping, rail, car hire and restaurant operators, whose service we utilise, some of which limit or exclude liability in respect of death personal injury, delay and loss or damage to baggage.  
Tour operator arranges fully insured vehicles with experienced and courteous drivers, equipped with air conditioners and heating systems. Vehicles of transportation are subject to the conditions mutually agreed upon such as a sedan for 1 ~2 persons, a van for 3~4 persons, a mini bus for 6~14 persons and motor coach bus for 15~40 persons, etc.
Tour operator provides American breakfasts at hotels basically with some exceptions. The letters (B, L, D) in the itinerary indicate that B: American breakfast, L: lunch and D: dinner and the indicated meals are included on the pertinent days.
Tour guides are qualified, courteous, knowledgeable on the destinations and attractions, good at how to manage and handle some undesirable situations. 
Travel agents belonging to KATA (Korea Association of Travel Agents) are basically reliable with their insurance in preparation for being bankrupt. Our tour operator is not only a member of KATA but also a member of ASTA (America Society of Travel Agents) has a license registered with Korean government.  A good agencys trading conditions are fair to both parties, putting their best effort to ensue that customers get what they want and to look after problems or complaints if such situations arise.

4Not included in price of tour:

Interstate and intrastate passengers are responsible for the cost of their own travel arrangements from their home town to and from their choice of international departure city (as set out in the brochure). The price of any accommodation in Australia, passports and visas and airport taxes, where applicable, are not included n the tour price, nor are items of a personal nature such as laundry, taxis outside of regular transfers provided, telephone calls, excess baggage charges, personal and baggage insurance, postage and cables, drinks, room service, meals (unless specified).

4Air travel:

Participating carriers on these tours are Asiana Airlines and Korean Air. However, it may be necessary to use the services of other airlines. No airline will incur responsibility or liability which may be incurred as the carrier.

4Air fare conditions:

Some air fares have limited validity or are required to be booked and paid for a certain time before you travel. Please consult your Travel Agent for applicable air fare conditions.

4Booking arrangements:

All booking arrangements are to be made through your Travel Agent or directly to Lotte Travel and the person effecting a booking shall be deemed to have accepted the Booking Conditions on behalf of all persons named in the booking. The contract will be governed by and subject to the Booking Conditions and to the general informations contained in the brochure. No variation of the Booking Conditions shall be of any effect unless made in writing and with the authority of Lotte Travel. All communications from us will be sent to your Agent. Your Agent shall , on the receipt of any tour monies, hold such monies for each and every person named in the booking until that booking is confirmed, at which time those monies shall be promptly remitted by your Agent to us. All such monies received by us in NSW are, as required by law, deposited on your behalf into trust accounts maintained in our name with our Banners. We will be entitled to keep, for each account, any interest earned on such monies. It is a condition of our confirmation of your booking and acceptance of your deposit in respect of your tour that all monies paid by you to us through your Agent, whether by way of deposit or otherwise in respect of your tour, may be disbursed by us, as and when we see fit or in respect of the services to be provided or fees payable under the tour programme; and the payment of a deposit or otherwise for your tour shall be deemed to be a direction to disburse such monies as aforesaid.

4Our responsibility:

We always do our best to make sure your arrangements are satisfactory and we accept liability for, but only to the extent of, any loss or damage sustained by you as a result of our negligence or that of our employees or agents. The standards of accommodation and other services contained in this brochure or in this website, are based on various factors which are generally accepted as indicative of a certain class, however we do not represent or guarantee the standard, class, or fitness for purpose of that accommodation or service. Lotte Travel does not accept any liability of whatever nature for the acts, omissions or default, whether negligent or otherwise, of those airlines, coach operators, shipping companies, hoteliers or other persons providing services in connection with your tour pursuant to a contract between them and yourselves and over whom we have no direct and exclusive control. We do not accept liability in contract or in tort (actionable wrong) for any injury, damage, loss, delay, additional expenses or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by force majeure or other events which are beyond our control, or which are not preventable by reasonable diligence on our part including, but not limited to war, civil disturbance, fire, floods, unusually severe weather, acts of God, acts of Government or of any other authorities, accidents to or failure of machinery or equipment or industrial action (whether or not involving our employees and even though such actions may be settled by acceding to the demands of a labor group).

4Law of contract:

The contract is governed in all respects by the law of the State of New South Wales and any legal action arising under the Contract shall be litigated only in the appropriate Court having jurisdiction in that State.
